My mom's version of this recipe. I love them with hamburger patties and German Fries, or anything that you can slop the beet juice on or dredge through the beet juice!

Ingredients:

• I can diced or Shoestring beets
• 1 ½ Tbs corn starch
• 1/8 cup water
• 3 Tbs sugar
• ¼ cups vinegar
• 1 ½ Tbs melted butter

Recipe:

• Drain beets, retaining liquid.
• Combine everything except the beets in a sauce pan.
• Cook until smooth.
• Add beets and cook until jellied.
• Serve.
