Spiced Rum Butter
Flavored butters are a great way to add fun to a meal. Whether you use them for cooking, or at the table to adding to bread, toast, potatoes, steak, or any other butter use, they turn the ordinary into something special!

Preparation
- Before you mix the ingredients, soften the butter to room temperature -- Do NOT melt, just soften.
You can leave it out to soften, or microwave a stick in a bowl for +/- 15 seconds on defrost, or use your favorite method of softening the butter.
- Then combine all ingredients.
Mix by hand, in a standing mixer, or I use an electric beater.
- The finished butter goes back in the refrigerator to re-harden.
You can put it in one large bowl, several small bowls, use a butter form to make individual patties, or whatever makes you happy.
- Serve at room temperature, do not microwave to soften.
- Store in refrigerator or freezer.
