Jane's fabulous brownies for the chocolate lover in your life!
Jane suggests: Try warm Brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or if it last over 3 days and brownies become slightly hard, dip them in some Amaretto liqueur or your booze of choice.

Ingredients:2 Boxes of Brownie Mix (plus ingredients needed for the mixes)4 XL Hershey Symphony Bars 2 tsp Vanilla Extract 2 tsp Instant Coffee
Preparation:Preheat oven to 350 degrees Prepare a 9 x 13 baking pan by greasing and flouring the pan Make one box of brownie mix according the package directions, adding 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan Put the Symphony Bars on top of the Brownie batter Make the second package of brownie mix according to the package directions, adding 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee Pour the second brownie batter over the first brownie batter and candy bars in the pan Bake for 55 minutes Let cool for at least 45 to 1 hour before cutting into squares
Notes:Brownie Mix: I use either the Ghirardelli double chocolate or triple Chocolate brownie mix. I’ve only found the Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate brownie mix at Costco. The double chocolate is available at all grocery stores and Walmart Coffee: I like to use instant espresso powder for the instant coffee Pan Prep: I like to line my pan with parchment paper this makes it easy to remove brownies from pan for slicing. Serving Suggestions: Try warm Brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or if it last over 3 days and brownies become slightly hard, dip them in some Amaretto liqueur or your booze of choice. |
