Texas Fresh Apple Cake

This is a fresh, moist cake that is just incredable! I can not recommend it enough!

Ingredients:

Cake
      3 c. Flour
      2 c. Sugar
      t. Salt
      1 t. Baking Soda
      2 t. Cinnamon
      1 c. Oil
      2 Eggs
      3 t. Vanilla
      3 or 4 c. peeled, cored, chopped Apples
      1 c. Walnuts or Pecans

Glaze
      1 c. Powdered Sugar
      1 t. Vanilla

Preparation:

Sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cinnamon.

Add oil, mix with spoon. Add eggs and vanilla, mix.

Work in apples and nuts.

Bake:

Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan at350 degrees for 1 hours.

DO NOT OVERBAKE.

Turn out of pan immediately onto rack; cool completely.

Glaze:

In small saucepan, mix 1 c. powdered sugar, 1 t. vanilla, and small amount of water to make a think glaze.

Heat on low till sugar melts.

Brush on cooled cake. Cooking Footer
