This is the dessert version
with Frosted Flakes
Noodle kugel can be served as a "Macaroni and Cheese" type main or side dish.
With a slight modification it also produces an almost candy-like dessert.
It’s easy to make and a unique addition to any table.
Ingredients:1 cup milk
6 oz cream cheese
1 pint sour cream
1/2 stick melted butter
1 cup sugar
6 to 8 slices diced American cheese (depending on how cheesy you want it)
1/2 pound of 1/2" flat egg noodles
Topping:Served as a hot Main or Side dish:
Top with crushed (chunky, not powdery) Graham Crackers,
mixed with enough melted butter to add flavor and make a cohesive dough, but not enough to make it totally soggy.
Served as a cold Dessert:
Serving:Main dish: Serve hot. Serves 8.
Side dish: Serve hot. Serves 16.
Dessert: Refrigerate and serve cold or at room temperature. Serves 8 to 16.
